Premium produce, grown with integrity.

From seed to soil to harvest, we utilize small-scale regenerative farming to nourish our community and the land for current and future generations.

Down River Farm uses regenerative methods to grow high quality, nutrient dense vegetables and soil.

Unlike many vegetable growers in Central Illinois, Down River is not a traditional family farm. We are young folks returning to a rural farmstead to care for the land and grow healthy vegetables that nurture wellness in our community.

Our approach embraces eating with the seasons and with the weather, fueled by a vision for a thriving local food system and a deep connection to the landscape on a visceral level. If we are successful, we believe this will encourage active preservation and stewardship of the land.

Our farm is your landscape.

Your support of small-scale regenerative farming directly translates into net positive, real changes in the landscape. From the healthy food itself to the healthy soil that continues to feed our community and future generations, these benefits are a direct result of your support.
